The Keep Military Museum in Dorchester will be hosting a special evening on the 11th of July 2025 from 18:30 – 21:00. The event will be held at the Dorchester Army Reserve Centre and will include a drinks reception followed by a special talk on the Dorsetshire Regiment at Hill
The Last Surviving D-Day Ration Pack
Staff at the Keep Military Museum in Dorchester have discovered a World War 2 D-Day ration pack in the museum collection. It is believed to be the only surviving complete Assault Ration Pack in the world. The “Assault Ration Pack” was issued to British and Commonwealth soldiers for the D-Day
