Volunteers at the Keep Military Museum give hundreds of hours of invaluable help to the Museum every year. There are quite a few roles from research to conservation work. Some of the Museum's collections are managed by our volunteers and we try to give our volunteers tasks which match their personal interests and experience.
Volunteering is a wonderful way to meet like-minded people and gives you the opportunity to learn new skills too. It is a very satisfying way to spend some spare time.
The Museum could not carry out all its work without the support of its volunteer workforce. We are always on the look-out for new volunteers. The openings do depend on the Museum's current needs we are currently looking for Front of House volunteers to help run the front desk and the shop.
If you are interested in joining our team, please email the Deputy Curator telephone on 01305 264066 or come into the museum.
