21-year-old Works to Encourage Young People to Venture into the Past

The Keep was featured on ITV recently as part of the Fixers series. 21-year-old Jack Welch, a friend of the Keep, is working to encourage young people to venture into the past, making history more relevant and accessible for his age group. Jack is also involved in the Walking In Their Shoes project - exploring Dorset's ancient pathways by walking in the shoes of a soldier from the First World War and the Saxon pilgrim St Aldhelm.

His story was shown on ITV News Meridian (W) on Thursday 5th March.
